Materials:

-  Acrylic (dark Brown and beige for the squirrel)

-  Crochet hook (1,10 mm)

-  Fiberfill for stuff

-  Safety eyes

-  Tapestry needle.

 Abbreviations:

mr  - magic ring	inc -  increase
ch – chain	FLO – front loop only
Sl st – slip stitch	BLO – back loop only
sc – single crochet	[ ] repeat work
hdc – half double crochet	( ) number of stitches at the end of the round
dec – decrease

 

Let's get start!!

Body

With dark brown colour yarn:

1) 6 sc in a MR (6)

2) 6 inc (12)

3) [1 sc, 1 inc] x 6 (18)

4) to 7) We are going to work with 2 different colours, B (beige) and y DB (dark brown) with tapestry technique (working with one colour and carrying the other inside of the work and changing wherever it necessary): (DB) 7 sc, (B) 5 sc, (DB) 6 sc (18)

8) (DB) 1 sc, 1 dec, 4 dc (B) 1 dec, 3 sc, (DB) 1 sc, 1 dec (12)

9) (DB) 6 sc, (B) 4 sc, (DB) 5 sc (15)

10) (DB) 2 sc, 1 dec, 2 dc, (B) 1 dec, 2 sc (DB) 1 dec, 3 sc (12). Stuff.

11) With dark Brown colour: 12 sc (12). Cut and leave a long thread to sew the head later. 

Head

With dark brown colour:

1) 3 sc in a MR (3)

2) 3 inc (6)

3) 6 sc (6)

4) 6 inc (12)

5) 12 sc (12)

6) 2 sc, 1 inc (16)

7) 3 sc, 1 inc (20

8) to 9) 20 sc (20)

10) 3 sc, 1 dec (16). Stuff.

11) 2 sc, 1 dec (12)

12) 12 dc (12). Close with a tapestry needle. Sew it to the body.

-- Safety eyes: between round 7 and 8, separated for 4 holes”.

Back legs

With dark brown colour:

1) 4 sc in a MR (4)

2) to 7) 4 sc (4)

Sew them to the body.

Front legs

With dark brown colour:

1) 4 sc in a MR (4)

2) to 5) 4 sc (4)

Sew them to the body.

Ears

With dark brown colour:

1) Ch 4, from the second one, 3 sc (3)

2) 1 sc, 1 dec (2)

3) 1 dec (1). Sew them to the head, 2 round over the eyes.

Tail

With dark Brown colour:

1) 4 sc in a MR (4)

2) to 12) 4 sc (4). Put, like you did on the head, thread on the last round of the tail. Then, brush them. Sew it to the body.
